The group has an ambitious work programme, working alongside public service leaders and partner agencies, which requires us to take a measured and deliberate approach to focus on the things that matter most, and enables us to draw on and share best practice and build capcapability across the system. this function is for someone who: » Is ready to take on a system leadership abilities function, and who is confident leading system change » Has practice working cross-culturally with a diverse range of communities » Can demonstrate thought leadership abilities at a system level and facilitate strategic thinking in others » Has proven capability in developing strong relationships and establishing credibility in various contexts » Has a strong knowledge of the government context, policy agenda and priorities » Has the capability to navigate ambiguity and complexity to deliver a D&I work programme » Is committed to, and can demonstrate how they support and value, diversity and inclusion the public service The Principal Advisor, Diversity and Inclusion provides strategic leadership abilities and delivers a system-wide work programme to support Public Service chief executives to develop an inclusive and diverse Public Service that reflects the communities we serve. They will work in partnership with chief executives, senior leaders, and key stakeholders across the system and within the Commission to ensure we have an integrated and sustainable approach to creating a diverse and inclusive public service.
