Process ManagerLocation Papakura & FranklinAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 100000 to 105000 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Manufacturing Management » Full time permanent role » Dairy diploma or similar » Specific food processing quality assurance experience We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Process Manager to ensure that all my client's Standards and Objectives are met regarding quality, operational efficiency (including cost, availability, yields), safety and environmental issues in Dryer and Liquid processing plant, whilst driving continuous improvement over the 24hr Cycle. Also, to maintain the efficient, safe, and quality focused operation of Dryer and Liquid processing facility based at Paerata. The position of Process Manager encompasses the following major key accountability areas: » Control of operational and financial responsibilities of the line over the 24hr cycle » Manage the Dryer operation over the 24-hr cycle to ensure Health and Safety, Quality, and the applicable compliance are delivered to KPI and beyond. » Provide effective technical and operational leadership and direction to the team that delivers people growth and Continuous Improvement. » Display the personal responsibilities as a leader » General standards Our client is a well-known company in the dairy industry, and they specialise in exporting dried dairy products not only around New Zealand, but around the world. This role is based out of our client's Paerata plant, and you will be part of a highly driven team who work to a high standard on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for someone with: » Five years plus experience in Dryer, Evaporation and Wetside Plant at a CI, Process Management and Supervisory role in dairy, food, supplement, or related industry(s). » Knowledge and experience in implementation of best practice principles with regards to manufacturing management (efficiency reporting, OEE, lean manufacturing principles, etc) » Technical experience in related products and/or systems » Understanding of regulatory requirements including auditing to MPI standards for Dairy and Pharmaceutical products » Experience leading small to medium and diverse teams » Understanding of financial and commercial systems In return, we are offering the right candidate: A competitive salary package + company perks Full time permanent role, Medical & Life insurance, Kiwisaver contributions This is a great opportunity for an experienced Process Manager to join a well-established organisation in the dairy industry, with opportunities available to further your career as you grow in your role.
