The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) has set its ambition to be Aotearoa New Zealand's most loved entertainment brand.
We are pursuing a key member of the management team to play a vital function in the support and care of our musicians.
this function will encompass the following deliverables:
   » Managing the day-to-day operations of the orchestra
   » Managing delivery of orchestra call activity in conformity with contractual provisions
   » superviseing bookings for extra and contract players
   » superviseing and facilitating musician recruitment processes
   » Participation in the NZSO Health and Safety Committee and assisting with ensuring H&S requirements are met
The ideal candidate will have practice in orchestra or arts management, in depth expertise of orchestral music and/or orchestral operations and excellent interpersonal and communication expertise, including practice in working with musicians / artists.
