About The Contract
We are seeking for a contractor/consultant to take up an interim management function for a healthcare manufacturing organisation experiencing growth and change and needing an additional resource to provide leadership abilities to an operations team, undertake an operational review and make recommendations for process and business improvements. The initial focus will be on providing visible leadership abilities and support to the team, reviewing operations to identify any issues or constraints to productivity and performance (such as operational processes, workflows, staffing, facilities etc) and developing action plans to address findings. Your practice You will have held senior line management functions in production/manufacturing management with practice in re-engineering processes and implementing new manufacturing processes, optimising workflows, scheduling, implementing and driving change (people, process, business), continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, risk mitigation, project management, and strong S&OP and GMP practice. Ideally practice will be from healthcare manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplement, or other regulated environments, or the FMCG sector where there is strong GMP compliance and a high level of quality standards and controls, and where you have led multidisciplinary teams. Contract term The contract is for six months, located in Auckland and a mid- to late- January start will be available, negotiable for the preferred candidate.
