We are pursuing a Senior Test Engineer for a permanent function with a top financial service organisation. The purpose of this function is to take ownership of the testing landscape for Insurance and building test frameworks and recommending improvements. this function will also mentor the Test Analysts team.
About the Team:
A small team within the Insurances business of this organisation, reporting to a dedicated People Leader who builds a create culture within the environment.  They have a flexible working arrangement, they have knowledge sharing sessions, and also shared lunches.  There are many benefits of working for this organisation, which can be discussed if interested in the function.
The responsibilities in this function are:
   » Delivering quality application changes across the insurance technology platform
   » Mentoring/Coaching a team of 2 Test Analysts
   » Working alongside testers and developers to produce quality results
   » Coordinating and delivering testing results across multiple work streams
   » Ensuring changes are implemented according to the risk progress and policies
   » Identifying cause of loss and taking immediate and appropriate actions
   » To identify improvements within the tooling or frameworks being used
To be prosperous in this function you will have:
   » Test Engineer practice across manual and automation
   » Must have practice with the Cypress framework
   » knowledge of BDD tools ie Cucumber
   » practiced in the performance test tools (JMeter) and agile framework
   » capability to implement and create automation strategy
   » practice with testing and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Grafana) and Cloud technology (preferrably Azure)
   » Coaching and mentoring practice a MUST
   » Preferred but not essential to have SQL, Azure DevOps, and Selenium testing tools
   » Excellent communication and relationship building with the stakeholders
