The outdoor bar has a wide selection of refreshments for those who want to savor fresh air and views of the mountains. The hotel has 19 rooms, Restaurant & two Bars to cater to our customers. Our hotel also focuses on functions, weddings, and other large-size events. With a small team we are running day-to-day operations, we promote an inclusive and friendly work environment for you to grow and develop your hospitality aspirations. Danseys Pass Hotel is seeking Hotel Staff (FOH/Housekeeping attendants) and Kitchen adjunct. FOH/Housekeeping. (tasks & Requirements) This position is multifunctional. The right candidate will have a mix of shifts in the following departments of the hotel: Bar/Restaurant, Front office, housekeeping & kitchen » To work alongside the management, FOH team, and kitchen in helping deliver a customer-focused practice to every guest. » Assist with some day-to-day operations including opening and closing the hotel » Clean the rooms, look after the laundry » Ideally some customer-facing practice in a busy restaurant. » The capability to deal with problems. » A current General Manager’s certificate or LCQ is an advantage but not necessary. » Barista practice is an advantage » A passion for service in the hospitality industry. » Clear (and friendly) communication with all team members. Team Work is Key in our Hotel. » Passion to both lgain from and train team members coming through the business. » A collaborative style, working harmoniously with the management and kitchen team. » practice with POS and cash handling. » Eye for details Kitchen adjunct (tasks & requirements) » Assist with preparation and presentation of food. » Work closely with, and support your colleagues. » Be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen. » practice in cooking breakfast is an advantage but not necessary. » Proven practice in kitchen » The capability to work in a fast-paced environment » A Reliable, friendly, and professional manner Both candidates must have: » a strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness » reliable transport. » legal right to work in New Zealand Accommodation on site is available!
