Warehouse Store PersonJob location:Auckland Manukau & East Auckland Work Type: Permanent » » » »Essential service, working in level 4, permanent function »Monday- Friday, growing company, room to progress »South Auckland base, free parking, competitive income About the Employer : This company is growing in this current environment and is needing to bring on board another Warehouse Store Person. This business is an international logistics provider, located at the Auckland Airport. They are the provider handling the import and export of products by Air and Ocean logistics, Event Logistics, Third-Party Logistics and Customer Brokerage. They are a tight-knit team looking for the right person to join them to contribute and add value to the company. About the position: The right candidate will be looking for a full-time permanent function, Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend required. The work hours will be set on a rotational basis. this function will involve the loading and unloading of the Ocean Freight Containers. You will be motivated, reliable, and able to work in a collaborative team. The position will also involve scanning documents, checking of the cargo into store and other general Warehouse tasks. Requirements and practice: » Good verbal communication expertise » Excellent attention to details with regards to paperwork » capability to work in a team and independently » Current class 1 care driver’s license » A current forklift license is desirable but not essential (you will be put through the training for this) » Physically fit and able- some heavy lifting involved » Solid knowledge of Health and Safety prosperous candidates will be required to undergo a Ministry of Justice criminal record check.
