This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Customer Solutions team which supports business customers, intermediaries, and strategic partners to build true collaborative relationships that benefit our customers and ACC’s vision for the future.
Operating at a senior level, and through a strong collaboration and strategic approach, you will be accountable for developing strategic partnerships internally and externally with key partners who can help ACC connect with our business customers, allowing us to support mutually beneficial results, such as enhancing recovery from injury at work, reducing workplace injury and improving the business customer practice when dealing with ACC. You will also have an overview of the existing partnering arrangements between ACC and partner organisations, at both a national and local level, able to spot the opportunities for adding value to both parties.
As a Strategic Business Customer Partner, you will be part of a multi-functional team focused on strategic partnering, solution management and workflow coordination for the wider Business Customer Solutions team, supporting ACC’s objectives.
Key responsibilities of the function and what you need to be prosperous:
   » practiced Account Manager and / or Engagement Manager (3-4 years) supporting a portfolio of key strategic partners
   » capability to navigate complex issues and promote customer centric solutions, without being an expert
   » Demonstrated capability to identify opportunity to connect and collaborate at a strategic level and manage and mitigate risk across many parties for mutual benefit for those parties, including spotting trends and acting accordingly
   » Strong team player and leadership abilities demonstrating a hands-on and supportive approach to encouraging a cohesive delivery, leveraging across Business Customer Solution teams and other ACC teams
   » Broad business knowledge, bringing a professional network and practice working with partners such as those in the health and safety sector, industry associations, organisations that represent the financial sector and Government departments.
As a Strategic Business Customer Partner, you will have an opportunity to influence new and innovative thinking, growing and developing relationships at a senior level within large business and working cross-functionally across other key ACC business groups. You’ll be supported by a great team to help meet the needs of our partners and customers.
