Your technical skills will enable you to provide pragmatic, high quality advice as systems are being developed, as well as identifying potential risks and solutions in areas like Cyber Security, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence – you will need to demonstrate credibility around the advice you provide and build trust with key stakeholders, including the ACC Board and our Minister. A bit about the function and what you’ll be doing will include the following: » Supporting the Risk and Internal Audit leadership abilities team in strategically focusing internal audit activities to the areas of highest risk or opportunity to add value » Managing and leading multiple reviews. This may require working independently or leading a team of auditors, including staff assigned by our co-source partner » Using initiative and a high degree of judgement when carrying out reviews and other assignments » Leading on continual improvements to audit processes and practices, particularly around adapting current processes » Assisting in coordinating and reporting to the Board Risk, Assurance and Audit Committee (RAAC), Executive Risk and Compliance Committee (ERCC), and other Board and Executive committees as required » Providing guidance and supervising our team of Auditors We offer the following: » Remuneration that reflects the importance of the function, including a generous superannuation contribution » A great work/life balance, with an opportunity to work in the house on a regular basis if you wish » Professional development opportunities » Exposure to large and complex work » An opportunity to genuinely help to improve the lives of New Zealanders What we’re looking for will include the following: » A trusted Advisor who is passionate about providing high quality advice and pragmatic recommendations » We are open to a range of practices in evaluation, analysis, risk management, and internal or external audit, with appropriate Project/IT Audit practice, Project Management, systems analysis or cyber security » Being proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic is a must.
