Mo tenei turana mahi – About this function This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work across our organisation, supporting your team to develop and produce significant data and insights that supports our business decisions and opportunity realisation to strengthen our services. Through your leadership abilities and guidance, you will ensure initiatives of the group strategy are met and you have an engaged team that works to develop, implement and communicate all reporting, production and insight initiatives. Your team produces standardised business intelligence, partnering with the business on strategy and significant programmes and projects. The team is split between a few locations, so you’ll need some good strategies around encouraging and supporting collaboration and engagement. You will feel at ease with stakeholder management and will have practice in coaching and supporting analytical teams bringing past practices with best practice and knowledge sharing. To be prosperous you will ideally have the following: » Strong relationship management, influencing, negotiation and communication expertise » Significant significant practice in a similar function with proven performance and results » An capability to think creatively to provide innovative and insightful analytics solutions » practice in leading and managing a team, or teams, ensuring key performance indicators are met » Proven practice in building teams and gaining buy-in to changes in processes, services and new ways of working » capability to work collaboratively with peers on prioritisation and resource allocation » Proven practice working with customers to understand and clarify needs » An knowledge of, and practice with, best practice analytics and insight tools, processes and techniques » Proven practice in the collaborative development of new, or review of existing, processes and/or ways of working to increase value to key stakeholders The midpoint of the income band for this function is $134,144 and appointment within the band will be dependent on expertise and practice. We also offer a 9% superannuation contribution on top of all of our functions.
