The function We are seeking for a Fundraising Manager who would be responsible for all our clients fundraising activity across various brands. This includes the development of the fundraising plans and budgets, as well as the management and inspiration of a group of eight terrific, dedicated and hard working staff members. Tasks leadership abilities » To take ownership of the funding programme and report as required to the CEO » Provide leadership abilities to the Fundraising team » Provide regular feedback and undertake annual staff performance reviews » Make presentations to in/external groups as required to encourage funding Planning » Continue to develop/implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy across the organisation » Set/achieve realistic time-located fundraising budget to achieve objectives set by CEO & Board » Research and develop new earnings streams in addition to bequests and Trusts » Corporate Fundraising Programme - work with companies to develop sponsorship and philanthropy Implementation » Continually review fundraising strategies to ensure relevance, innovation, & goals are met » supervise all new programs » Manage the fundraising team with its budget and cost to serve » Work collaboratively with Communications & Marketing team to ensure all fundraising activity reflects organisational communication and brand strategies Externally etc » Meet with Donors as required to build strong relationships and ensure their goals are met » Lead and coordinate communication with key Donors and Funders » Ensure reporting requirements are communicated across significant internal stakeholders » Reporting to Funders and Donors » Develop relationships with corporates to encourage sponsorship and philanthropy » Interact with community groups, other non-profits and iwi to identify opportunities and initiate projects » Identify and attend events as appropriate to network with significant stakeholders » Tangata Whenua, value and promote culturally appropriate practices » Health & Safety adherence You » Will be an practiced Fundraising Manager from NZ’s ‘not for profit’ sector who has also prosperously led a team of fundraising staff » Have expert expertise of fundraising best practice, program lead, planning and salary/budget management » Able to present at Board level » Possess an appropriate tertiary (Degree) qualification, Certificate in Fundraising or CFRE qualification Offer » A six figure base » Free onsite parking » Conveniently located in one of their Auckland city fringe office sites » Work in the house policy (after settling in period) » Family friendly environment » Handover » Use of pool cars » Mobile phone » Laptop » Job security (multi govt agency support) » Already restructured, with a huge increase in fundraising earnings in the last year This is a great opportunity within a well-known organisation who value their staff highly!
