At the heart of WOW is an internationally renowned wearable art competition which attracts entries from more than 40 countries around the globe each year. The astonishing works of wearable art created by designers and then selected by the judges go on to take the stage in the annual WOW Awards Show which attracts an audience of more than 60,000 people. WOW also has the privilege to house and care for an incredible collection of past garments which are showcased through exhibitions, live events, and other activations. As Head of Operations, you will plan and deliver the business operations to support the delivery of the wearable art competition. Key accountabilities include business planning and monitoring, oversight of the people & culture practices, health and safety, technology, intellectual property, and facilities management. You will also provide commercial support for the development and execution of the company's inspirational growth strategy. The right person for this function will have proven practice in managing business operations including having oversight of the key areas of accountcapability for this function. You will also have demonstrated commercial practice with an capability to negotiate a business deal. Personal attributes you will need to bring include being a strategic thinker, problem solver, highly analytical and a skilled communicator with the capability to navigate uncertainty with a resilient nature.
