Our RMA Consents team are busy and are ready to welcome new members to the team. The opportunity we have is for two Intermediate RMA Planners. The qualified planner who will be prosperous in securing this position will:» Have practice in processing both subdivision and land-use resource consents within a local government framework » Seek the challenge of processing resource consents of varying complexity and type » Be confident to make the tough decisions when required » Have a good knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991 and the Resource Management Amendment Act 2003 and the resource consent process » Be capable of consistently producing work of high quality within the required timeframes » Minimum 4-6 years post qualification practice in a planning field At Whangarei District Council we take our reputation as a lifestyle destination seriously and consider a range of flexible working and life balance options for those that want to work in a professional and progressive environment while still having the time to take advantage of everything our district has to offer.
