Sub-speciality fellowship/interest in Nuclear Medicine, Head & Neck imaging and MSK imaging will be preferred. We are seeking for people with practice and enthusiasm for clinical leadership abilities, continuous quality improvement and audit. We offer opportunities for full or part-time functions within the department. Our Department Wellington Regional Hospital is one of New Zealand's five tertiary medical centres and our radiology department is a recognised training institution for Registrars (current we have 11), MITs and Sonographers. An emphasis is placed on teaching, including on-going personal and professional development. We also have a close working relationships with our other regional hospitals, including Hutt Valley and Wairarapa DHBs. Nuclear Medicine imaging 2 x Gamma Cameras on site - a new Siemens Intevo Bold 16 slice diagnostic CT was installed in mid-2020, a dedicated team of 4 NM MITs and 1 NM trainee position. Opportunity to lead the development and growth of services within Nuclear Medicine. Would involve close work and potentially reporting/guidance for other regional Nuclear Medicine services. Head & Neck imaging We support a tertiary ENT service onsite for adult and paediatric patients - CT, US diagnostic and interventional, MRI MSK imaging MSK MRI 1.5 & 3.0T, CT, US diagnostic & interventional, Fluoroscopy tasks Reporting and supervising imaging lists (e.g. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine) Interventional and fluoroscopy procedures as appropriate Preparing and taking clinical meetings/MDMs and liaising with clinicians where required Supervision and teaching of Radiology RMOs, and other groups, as required Participation in on-call roster expertise and practice practice in diagnostic radiology services including but not limited to: Plain films, Fluoroscopic and special procedures, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Angiography, nuclear medicine. candidates must hold RANZCR or equivalent diagnostic radiology qualifications.
