We’ve got two new opportunities in our team for Senior Communications and Engagement Advisors passionate about improving the wellbeing of Aotearoa. We’re looking for two strong seniors to join the team and drive the engagement strategies to support this.
Our purpose at ACC is to improve lives every day. It’s to put our customers first, show them manaakitanga and support their wellbeing. It’s to enable everyone in Aotearoa the freedom to live their lives knowing that if they need us, we’ll be there.
These functions help us deliver this purpose, by working with different areas of the organisation to improve the way we reach and engage with all New Zealanders, lift consciousness of the support we provide, and drive business results.
What we’re looking for
As a senior advisor to the business, you will be comfortable collaborating with leaders and managers across ACC to understand their business problems and develop customer communications and marketing solutions that will deliver results.
To be effective, you’ll be comfortable pushing back on requests for support that will take your focus and attention away from higher-impact initiatives.
When Information technology comes to executing, you will have the support of the broader team, which includes content creators, digital marketers, media engagement specialists and brand professionals. So you’ll know how to lead integrated teams but, will also be motivated and energised by rolling-up your own sleeves and getting stuck into the doing yourself.
These functions require someone who is comfortable in complex and at times ambiguous environments, able to rely on their practice and questioning expertise to get to the bottom of what needs to be done. located on this, we’re looking for people with solid practice in senior communication functions, looking for a function they can own and make a difference in.
An knowledge and interest in the wellbeing and health landscape in Aotearoa would be beneficial.
For all that you bring, we can offer a lot in return

We work collectively to get the best outcome, supporting each other to achieve. With a focused people-care approach your development is prioritised, and we create the space to lgain and grow on a regular basis.
The mahi is compensateing. Working in an organisation with such a strong purpose means the mahi directly makes a difference for our customers. Everyday we’re working with good people on things that matter.
We’re a flexible workplace. Part of having a focus on people means we understand that work and life need to go hand in hand. For example, our teams work in the house two days a week cutting down on commuting costs and providing more time in their day.
The benefits aren’t bad either. ACC has a range of benefits on offer to its employees from a generous superannuation employer contribution to employee wellbeing and assistance programs.
