This is a pivotal role with a New Zealand team, the Finance Manager will assist in making critical business decisions by analysing and presenting key financial data. The export company would require someone with at least 5 years of experience with mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange. With an exceptional mathematical mind combined with strong business acumen, they will lead all accounting tasks and be both a strategist and decision makers. The goal is to contribute to the decision-making process of management that will ensure business growth and long-term success. The objectives of the Finance Manager include: » Improve financial performance » Dealing with payroll administration, credit & funds management, management accounting and overall Financial Accounting. » Provide business accounting skills ensuring business and financial needs of the business unit in New Zealand are being met » Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements » Assistant in the preparation of monthly budgets and well as month end accounting including reconciliations and journals » Processing all transactions to facilitate timely and accurate management of accounts » Complete all accounts receivable tasks with the assistance of the finance team » Supervise the accounts payable tasks with the assistance of the finance team » Budgeting and reporting » Completing all tax-related material, PAYE, GST » Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation Under the spotlight - Who is Our client Our client was established in 1970 and is a corporation that is a general trading company that conducts business in diversified import and export markets.
