We have a great opportunity available for an experienced industrial cleaner to establish a full-time role in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that has a high focus on team culture, recognition, and development. Our client is a well-known name in the manufacturing industry, who is always looking for expansion or growth within their business. As part of the role, you will be responsible for providing a cleaning service to the factory floor, office space, and car parks. This is a role that will keep you on your toes, so having the ability to think on your feet and work efficiently throughout the day are two key things that our client is looking for! Along with this, to be considered for the role you will need to: » Be physically fit, and have the ability to spend long periods on your feet » Have experience in industrial cleaning » Have a forklift license ( preferred, but not essential) » Have a positive attitude towards worksite Health and Safety » Have good communication skills, and be able to build rapport with workplace colleagues » Experience in inventory management » Be willing to turn up work every day, on time As part of the role, you will be required to: » Maintain a clean and safe environment for the day-to-day operation of the factory. » Attending to possible spills, leaks, and clean-ups safely where required » Collect and dispose of rubbish » Effectively operate industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines correctly » High level of machinery cleaning in the extruder area » Coordinate any repairs needed with maintenance » Stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies » Identify tasks/areas that do not comply with health and safety standards and initiate the appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
