Job Offer: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Criminology:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionLecturer/Senior Lecturer – CriminologyApplications are invited for a permanent, full-time lectureship in criminology and criminal justice in the School of Social Sciences and Public Policy at the Auckland University of Technology. The prosperous candidate will contribute to the existing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in criminology and criminal justice and be expected to supervise Masters’ and PhD students in this area. In addition, the appointee will be actively involved in research and contribute significantly to the research culture and reputation of both the School and Faculty of Culture and Society at AUT.candidates should hold a PhD in criminology or a related academic discipline and be able to demonstrate the promise of excellence in both teaching and research. Applications from criminologists from all backgrounds are welcomed, but particular interest will be given to those with skills in Indigenous criminology, as well as the fields of environmental criminology, cybercrime, restorative justice, and victimology.
