Tauranga City Council 's strategy and vision is all about engaging with the community; from business to the wider local community. As part of the vision reset the community is at the heart of every interaction. Our search is to identify a Contacts Advisor. Reporting to and supporting the Workflow Lead this function is all about supporting the Community Relations Team. Critical to your success will be: * Sourcing & coordinating community relations resources across communications, design, advertsising, marketing, print etc * Managing contract negoiations, price and changes with the Workflow lead * Recommend contract resource that is fit for purpose * Establish positive and effective relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers * Implement regular reviews with suppliers and implement opportunities for improvement Essential expertise for the function will include: * practice working in a Communications or Engagement environment * practice in procurement or Contract management in the marketing space * Strong process docuemtation and prepartion expertise * Strong computer expertise including MS Word and Excel * Strong interpersonal and coordiantion expertise * practice in managing suppliers A competitve income is on offer and the opportunity to be part of a new journey for TCC.
