Pae Ora (M?ori and Equity) function, as a Cultural Capcapability Partner. As the Cultural Capcapability Partner – M?ori you will be responsible for leading and guiding M?ori engagement to support the development of close connections with Iwi, hap? and M?ori communities across Aotearoa. You will work in partnership with business leaders, to deliver M?ori cultural skills, advice and guidance that supports the development of cultural capcapability and enables the delivery of improved services and results for M?ori. You will take a lead function in ACC’s knowledge of te Tiriti o Waitangi and M?ori results to support the delivery of Wh?ia te Tika, ensuring a Wh?ia te Tika and M?ori results lens is part of organisational decision making, prioritisation and delivery. Some of the important Mahi you will be involved in the following: » Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Iwi, hap?, Kaupapa M?ori entities, Boards and Advisory groups, aligned to our M?ori engagement framework, to enable ACC to deliver better results for M?ori » Establish and support key relationships with M?ori stakeholders to support the implementing, monitoring and maintaining of improved services for M?ori » Support the implementation of an enterprise M?ori engagement framework to support coordinated engagement between ACC and M?ori » Guide ACC on tikanga and engagement protocols when engaging with M?ori to ensure cultural safety, and appropriate and responsive engagement activity » Develop and maintain strong two-way partnerships, aligned to priority areas, where opportunities and requirements are discussed, and effective advice and guidance is provided to progress key initiatives that will improve M?ori results » Support connection and strategic initiatives that will tautoko M?ori kaimahi wellbeing, enabling M?ori to be M?ori at work and provide whakawhanaungatanga across our M?ori kaimahi What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function will include the following: » Demonstrated practice in M?ori engagement including established networks in M?ori communities, Iwi and entities » A high level of competency in tikanga M?ori and te reo M?ori with a deep knowledge of M?ori culture, values, political and social systems, including strong Iwi networks » Demonstrated knowledge of m?tauranga M?ori including an knowledge of Kaupapa M?ori approaches » broad knowledge, and proven capability to advise on the application of te Tiriti o Waitangi Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
