You’ll be joining the Sourcing and Selection team who are passionate about exploring inclusive ways of recruiting to attract diverse talent. The team will assist you on diverse and inclusive practices that can be applied to recruitment such as mitigating biases at key stages of the screening and selection process.
We are seeking for a Senior Recruitment Advisor who will form part of the In-house Recruitment pilot. We want to become trusted advisors, partnering with the business to proactively resource for permanent and fixed-term functions. Giving effect to Te Tiriti and applying culture and D&I in all parts of attraction and recruitment is central to what we do, and we invest in raising our team’s cultural competence.
About this function
As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will work collaboratively with Hiring Managers all over the end-end recruitment process as you plan, develop, advise and support them on hiring the best available talent for the function. You will provide expert input to the development of resourcing, sourcing and selection strategies, ensuring a best-practice approach.
We want all candidates to have a great practice. You’ll be ensuring the recruitment process is inclusive and accessible, and supporting the Managers in keeping candidates informed and engaged all over the hiring process.
About you
You will bring a strong recruitment background with strengths in talent sourcing techniques, recruitment technology and the capability to take a consultative approach with internal stakeholders. A mix of in-house recruitment and recruitment agency background will be invaluable, however we will still consider those with sole practice in either. We are building our capcapability in directly sourcing talent so executive search, talent pooling, market-mapping and networking are great expertise we’d like to add to our growing team. You will also have a real passion, or at least a growing interest, in Diversity and Inclusion. You will be motivated to develop in this area and open to innovative recruitment approaches to ensure we are attracting and selecting diverse talent.
Work practice in a large complex organisation makes Information technology easier for you to transition to the Ministry environment. There will be a range of key stakeholders to establish relationships and build credibility with so great communication, problem-solving and delivering results are essential.
