To support the Ministry's purpose and drive effective delivery at an exciting time for the sector, we have a newly established function within Improvement Systems and Technology team.The Improvement Systems and Technology team are seeking an individual with strong leadership abilities practice to establish themselves as our new Service Support Manager at National Office in Wellington.
As a Service Support Manager, you will be responsible for the service results provided to MSD's internal staff. You will provide visible service provision improvements to help support the team in resolving incidents and service requests within a timely manner.
With a wide variety of variety this function brings, you will support the team across both the day-to-day operations and at a strategic level.
Key requirements of the function
   » Play an active function in shaping the team's service provisioning culture
   » Coach, mentor, and support the team to ensure ever team member has the right capabilities and expertise to deliver
   » Provide and shape reporting on service provisioning performance metrics, whilst ensuring continuous reporting updates are shared with significant stakeholders
   » Analyse data to continuously understand opportunities for improvement
   » Providing leadership abilities whilst supporting the Service Desk, Regional Support technical staff and our ITSOC ( Information technology Security Operation Centre, Incident, Problem and Change) functions
   » Work in partnership with the Customer practice Technology Product Manager to improve our staff's practice when responding to service provisioning requests.
To be prosperous in this function, you will bring previous practice in
   » Senior practice in leading a service function within a large and complex organisation
   » Planning and executing improvement activities
   » High levels of resilience and adaptcapability
   » Dealing with complexity at a senior level
   » Proven capability to build an effective team culture, whilst establishing trusted partnerships
   » Gathering and collating client feedback to help further improve on provided services

income range: $124,872.00 – $187,308.00
