Join the team at EIT and play your part in equipping our students for a function in the exciting and ever-expanding world of environmental management.

EIT is adding a degree level qualification to our Environmental programmes portfolio, in addition to offering the level 5 and 6 Diplomas in Environmental Management.

A permanent fulltime function is available for a lecturer with appropriate qualifications and practice to teach plant health, ecology, biology and botany at levels 4, 5, 6, and 7.

There will also be the opportunity to assist with the development of the new degree and to carry out related research.

Key requirements for this function include:

· Recent practice in the environmental management field essential.

· Masters degree in an environmental related discipline essential

· expertise of botany and New Zealand native plants desirable.

It is important that candidates have good organisational and administrative expertise with teaching practice at tertiary level an advantage but not essential.
