Reducing the incidence and severity of injuries is a strategic priority for ACC and one of the many ways we help to improve lives every day. ACC is increasing its investment in injury avoidance and implementing an ambitious Injury avoidance Strategy.
About the function
As a Partnered Delivery Manager – Primary avoidance you will lead the design and delivery of a range of key initiatives to prevent violence in line with our injury avoidance strategy. This will be a collaborative opportunity; therefore, you will work with our M?ori Cultural Capcapability team, subject matter experts across ACC and our Joint Venture partners to establish and maintain the foundational infrastructure for public facing interventions, coordination and partnerships and systems level infrastructure.
The portfolio has existing partnerships, and now new opportunities to scale our investments for greater impact in collaboration with the Joint Venture for Family Violence and Sexual Violence. The function requires management of a team, and drive and initiative to develop and deliver a clear programme of work over the year.
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function includes the following:
   » Proven practice in leading large complex programmes of work (particularly in the area of primary avoidance, wellbeing and or Maori and Pacific communities)
   » capability to build and lead a highly engaged team that is adaptable, proactive, and collaborative with a focus on people driven leadership abilities to grow and develop
   » Passion for performance and excellence with integrity, with an emphasis on innovation and stepping outside comfort zones to lead into new spaces
   » Excellent conceptual thinking and the capability to take a long-term strategic view, while maintaining a focus on delivery
   » Taking accountcapability for the whole programme of work, set clear expectations and having the operational discipline to help the team deliver
Key success factors
You will have a deep knowledge of and capability to work in complexity, be well connected in Government and communities, and capability to maximise opportunities across the primary avoidance system for ACC. A priority for this function is the capability to navigate the opportunities and challenges in designing ways of working that are effective for M?ori.
