Local Government | Ue te H?n?tore is a branch that undertakes the Departments function as steward of the local government system. We provide a long-term vision for the local government system and what is needed to ensure its effective operation and delivery for the people of NZ.
A key responsibility of the Senior Advisor function will be to support the continuing implementation and monitoring of Aotearoa Reorua - Bilingual Towns and Cities and Tatai Arong? – the Co-Governance Data Portal, kaupapa M?ori mahi that are being delivered across Aotearoa New Zealand. Other responsibilities include engaging with iwi M?ori and local government partners, contract management, working with other business units to deliver internal management requests and effectively raising consciousness for, support and delivery of results for enhancing relationships with Iwi-M?ori.
The Senior Advisor will also support the development of talents and expertise of other kaimahi in the team.
