M? te t?ranga mahi | About the function The Climate Change Chief Executives Board has been established as a new Interdepartmental Executives Board. Its function is to coordinate implementation of cross-agency actions and strategies on climate change, including the implementation of the Emissions Reduction Plan and National Adaptation Plan. Information technology will monitor, report and advise the Climate Response Ministers Group on progress at the sector and economy wide level. We are seeking for a highly practiced Manager to drive the team’s work programme. You will provide judgement and direction in an operating context that is often ambiguous, complex and politically charged. You will be working closely and collaboratively with a diverse range of key stakeholders and agency partners, so you will need strong engagement skills with the capability to influence at all levels. A key focus of the function will be sharing your skills to coach and mentor staff to build capcapability within the team. Alongside the Executive Director you will help deliver the team’s vision and contribute to the development of an engaged and inclusive team culture.
