Production Planner / Purchasing OfficerLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Permanent Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Planning & Scheduling » Exciting permanent position with lots of progression » Manufacturing or Production Supervision experience » Analytical, Process and Continuous improvement focused (Lean) Production Planner / Purchaser Manukau Due to the rapid growth of the company, an experienced Production Planner / Purchaser in manufacturing environment is required for our clients operation in Manukau. If you are a high performing person with a strong desire to build a high performing team, have great customer service skills and have the ability to develop systems and procedures, then this role will be of interest to you. We require a person with: » Good computer skills working with Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) » Experience working in high volume manufacturing environment with short lead times for production » Tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience » A good understanding of TOC and lean concepts would be of advantage » Self motivator with excellent communication skills » Working in plastic industry would be ideal but not essential You will be working with the production team to implement productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives whilst ensuring the day-to-day production requirements and delivery schedules are being met in an efficient, quality focused and cost-effective manner.
