Our Learner Progression team play a vital function in working across our organisation to assist learners through their programmes of learning. About the function Develop and implement strategies and action plans to enhance the engagement, participation and achievement for M?ori, Pasifika, and underprivileged learners. Engage with learners and employers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, develop learning resources, and create a mentor network to support and enable learners. As an organisation we recognise the need to respond to equity issues within the education community. This newly established position is a rare and special opportunity for someone who is passionate to shape the way forward. this function is open to all candidates within New Zealand for the right candidate. About you We are seeking for Somebody with the following: » practice working in the education sector or similar practice working with underprivileged or M?ori and/or Pasifika learners. » Strong cultural capcapability and consciousness. » capability to develop effective networks and working relationships. » capability to demonstrate initiative and act strategically to achieve results. » Effective communication expertise.
