Do you want to wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the waters of the Abel Tasman? We are seeking for a fun hard-working person(s) who is looking to have an awesome time right at the start of the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. The work will be helping out with housekeeping and then doing any handyman/maintenance work that needs to be done in the afternoon. practice is a must on the handyman side. You need to have a solid grasp on how to fix stuff, and more importantly, how to figure out how to fix stuff. This could turn into a seasonal position for the right person. 1. We provide your accommodation - you must be available to work up to 3 hours a day, up to 4 days a week (12 hours a week max) for $20.00 hour (gross). Under the new Government rules this is a paid job, working 12 hours per week, (@ $20.00 + 8% holiday pay) so you must already hold a valid Working Holiday Visa and have an IRD number. This is a live in-position staying in a shared facilities cabin and your accommodation and expenses will be deducted from your weekly pay which is the equivalent of the old rule working for accommodation This is an onsite function where the amount worked covers full time accommodation, internet access, laundry facilities, parking , and discounts for local activities in the Abel Tasman, such as Aqua Taxi trips, Kayaking and Skydiving. We have a vegi garden, chickens, starting a nursery and very make the odd home brew and live by the beach! We ask for a minimum of 3 weeks.
