We have a modern Restaurant, serving local produce with a selection of local wines. We also serve L’Affare coffe and offer a great selection of home baked goodies. (Look on trip adviser & check our website for customer reviews etc. (www.poppiescafe.com)). This would suit someone who is passionate about customer service & would like to gain more practice working with expertiseable staff. We have a large garden where we grow a wide variety of produce for the café/ restaurant and make as much as we can in our own kitchen. We’re a great team who work hard & have lots of fun together. We are offering good money for the right applicant. Accommodation is available with internet. A manager’s certificate and barista practice would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided. The prosperous candidate will be required to deliver food and beverages, wait on tables, help with the cleaning of the restaurant and organization of functions and maintain the excellent customer service we provide. Twizel is a small town near Mt Cook, which enjoys excellent weather and beautiful views. There are lots of facilities in the town, including a gym, a swimming pool, golf course, tennis courts climbing wall and lots of outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, tramping, mountain biking, water skiing etc. We are situated 2 hours from Queenstown and 3 hours from Christchurch. We are also only a 30 minute drive from Ohau ski field. Our previous staff have been returning to us for the past four years so we believe we offer a great working environment.
