A key leadership abilities function will be the Director: Strategy and Corporate Services. this function will encompass the following deliverables: » Working closely with the CEO to develop the NZSO's strategy and supervise implementation of the strategy » Assisting the CEO with key stakeholder relationships » superviseing progress on the crucially important National Centre for Music - and other vital projects » Leading the Orchestra's bicultural journey » superviseing the Business Services and Finance functions within the Orchestra » Responsibility for the quality and delivery of the NZSO's accountcapability documents » Oversight of the NZSO's Human Resources function » Oversight of the NZSO's commercial projects and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have proven strategic skills and a prosperous work history practice within central and local government - and in the commercial sector. leadership abilities practice and skills are essential, including proven capability to lead teams and foster an achieving and inclusive workplace culture. A background in law and finance is important. As well, an knowledge of te ao M?ori is vitally important - as is the capability to manage complex projects.
