Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, the largest payroll in the country, and transportation of over 100,000 students to and from school each day

About the function
You will be responsible for managing processes and systems connected with the Ministry’s Weathertightness Review Panel (WRP) keeping the Programme operational and efficient. Working with external Panel Consultants, Design Teams, Delivery Managers and Property Advisors the Programme Coordinator will also ensure that the design review processes meet delivery targets.
Your key accountabilities will include the following:
   » All admin tasks for the Weathertightness Team; booking travel and progressing invoices
   » Managing a large team of external Panel consultants for project review services
   » Selecting and assigning Panel consultants for individual projects
   » Pre-screening of incoming Survey Reports and Design Packages
   » Managing and maintaining registers and databases
About you
You will have previous practice providing coordination support in a project or programme environment, ideally with an knowledge of the construction and design processes.
You will also offer:
   » a self-directed and proactive approach with excellent time management and the capability to juggle several tasks and deadlines at once
   » good written and oral communications expertise
   » the capability to make sound decisions within short timeframes and effectively be adaptable and use initiative.
