We are pursuing an experianced Chef de Partie to join our practiced team in the kitchen Subsidised accomodation available only minutes from work, uniforms provided, meals whilst on duty, 2 days off per week Blanket Bay is a world renowned luxury lodge that caters to a discerning international clientele. Chef de Partie Position We are looking for a professional chef who is looking to further develop their career in a fine dining environment. You must be guest focused with a passion for wanting to provide great service and a high standard of product whilst displaying exceptional self discipline and having a strong capability to cook as you will be working with high end ingredients. You will need to be able to follow direction and to work unsupervised. This is a unique and challenging function, where your creativity and capability is actively encouraged to develop your expertise further, creating memorable practices for our discerning clientele. We are very unique as we offer a 7 course tasting menu that changes everyday with a focus on sourcing local, high end seasonal and sustainable produce from all around New Zealand This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an internationally recognised award winning luxury lodge that is situated beside a UNESCO World Heritage site. Blanket Bay offers a 'family' work culture and is ideal for those who love the outdoors and a balanced work/play lifestyle. Accommodation is available in fully furnished staff houses in Glenorchy .
