The Company
UK listed, with Asian and Australasian manufacturing sites, this company has leading FMCG clients where they are supplying specialist packaging to the Food & Beverage sector in particular.
The Position
   » Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will look after part of the NZ market (your colleague looks after the Australian market), taking ownership of your defined customers and coordinating the sales support/customer service function
   » Shared function with one other where you will be a first point of contact for customer orders (a smaller number of key clients ie 40 in total with a top 10 within that)
   » Entering orders, dispatch and logistics, invoicing and resolving queries
   » Advise lead times (eg for product sourced from Thailand)
   » contact with management, planning, warehousing, on site factory and quality – getting forecasts from customers (similar practice required pls)
   » In effect, within your defined area of responsibility, co-ordinating the demand management and sales/delivery lifecycle…
You
   » We are seeking for someone who is energetic, calm, highly organised (able to juggle multiple priorities), able to plan and commercially savvy
   » practiced within a senior customer service function within the manufacturing/ERP environment (system is similar to SAP) and someone also really confident with Excel (used for forecasting/uploading to SAP etc).
   » Any technical knowledge, negotiation expertise and supply chain exposure would also be highly regarded
On offer
   » Hours are 8.30 to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
   » Free on site parking is available
   » Modern offices, great technology and natural light with large windows
   » Social activities are enjoyed (eg monthly morning teas)
   » Approx $28/hour (incl hol pay), plus Kiwisaver
