About our group and team
The Sector Enablement and Support group includes a number of teams around the country who work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, skills and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential. We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
The Ministerials team is located at National Office. We provide proactive and highly responsive administrative and clerical support to managers and staff, with a particular focus on Ministerial processing and reporting.
About this function
The Ministerial Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
   » Processing and responding to correspondence from other teams in the Ministry and staff within Ministers’ offices
   » Allocating tasks across Sector Enablement and Support, including to teams located in regional offices
   » Tracking workflows and monitoring work to ensure deadlines are met
While this function is located in a small team, you will also be working closely with other groups across the Ministry, particularly our Government Executive and Ministerial Services team and our regional offices.
