They are seeking a Business Analyst - Banking for a 12-month contract, location-based in either Auckland or Wellington, New Zealand. This role will focus on consulting with the Banking industry for one of our client's customers within the finance industry. Keyresponsibilities : » Use banking knowledge and experience to analyze business and solution requirements to determine process and application changes and solution gaps. » Refine business strategy and associated Cognitive Process Reengineering (CPR) transformation service on the whole enterprise level, focusing on business expertise. » Assists in the creation of a Banking organization's business Vision and Blueprint and optimizing business operations and processes according to organizational strategy. » Define and outline a roadmap to achieve their vision for the business function of the future including helping the client to select, design & implement those solutions. » Increase profitability through improved cost management, reduced working capital & increased asset utilization. » Select, design, and implement shared services and outsourcing solutions to improve the cost and effectiveness of their operations. Advises clients regarding products & solutions for solving problems in the Banking Industry. » Play the role of a business analyst to understand the client's needs and then work with the team to build the technical solution. The ideal candidate: » Knowledge of the Banking Industry - Lending/ Deposits / GL experience. » Strong client-facing skills. » Ability to write functional definition documents. » Loan origination experience » Knowledgeable in the trends and directions of the industry, the marketplace, and the players.
