As a Policy and Advocacy agent, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, develop policy submissions, and actively monitor emerging issues in the mental health sector. Key Job responsibilities: • Develop and coordinate policy submissions, briefing papers, and reports for the practice of psychiatry and mental health in New Zealand. • Monitor and analyze emerging policy issues significant to psychiatric practice and mental health. • Consult with stakeholders and committees across a range of government and private sector entities to ensure strategic alignment and provide a New Zealand perspective on position statements. • Support external policy processes and provide policy assistance to committees and representatives. • Produce policy briefs, recommendations, and media content located on analysis, consultation, and member input.
