Medical Administrator – Up to $70k
- Private surgical setting in Epsom
- Varied function, larger vibrant team, training
- 7:30/8:30am to 5pm roster
The Position
To provide office administration assistance and support, enabling the best possible practice for the patient in a busy clinical setting with surgical procedures carried out onsite.
- A varied function fulfilling customer service and administration tasks within a specific medical department
- Face to face patient contact, and with their visitors/relatives
- Excellent telephone expertise
- Maintain appointments at optimal level
- Appropriate and consistent instructions to patients for procedures performed onsite
- Knowledge of schedules and preparation for Specialists is current
- Patient info data entry
- Labels and everyday procedure lists, print as required
- knowledge of journal entry and printing of invoices and credit entry
- Receipting and knowledge patient accounts
You
- Will have a strong Medical Administration practice
- Have excellent attention to detail, and the capability to work under pressure
- Medical terminology knowledge, phone, customer service & administration practice
- Attitude and fit will secure this terrific and quite special function!
On offer
- 6-8 weeks of training, including of their patient management software
- Smart uniform with name badge supplied

- The function is salaried and hours are rostered between 0730am and 5pm
- One week per 6 weeks is 42 hours per week but all others are 40 hours per week
- Variety plus! As there is rotation through varied functions (in essence data entry, bookings, insurance, typing and reception) so Information technology makes Information technology very interesting
- income negotiable ie $60 - $70,000
