We are on the look-out for astellar Programme Managerto produce and drive engagement with the Education programme for Auckland Arts Festival 2022.Auckland Arts Festival/ Te Ahurei Toi o T?maki Makaurau is a globally recognised celebration of art and culture taking place each March in New Zealand's largest city.Presented annually, the 18-day eventcelebrates people and culture, and showcases the cultural diversity and vibrant energy of Auckland. As Education Programme Manager, you'll work closely with the Artistic Director and Head of Programming as part of the programming team to develop and produce schools' performances. You'll work with selected festival artists to deliver the education programme to education groups, teachers and students as well as co-ordinate the professional development programme to Arts practitioners in the wider professional Arts industry. Along with a passion for innovatively connecting young people and the wider community with a vibrant and diverse festival programme, we'll need you to be a skilled networker and salesperson, an excellent and friendly communicator and to have the capability to work well in a team while under pressure in a busy festival environment. expertise of contemporary performing arts (including M?ori and Pacific), practice in the NZ education sector and event management are among your expertiseet.
