Farm adjunct:Job description:Farm adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($21.5 per hour)Job location: Mayfield Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 24/04/2021 We are seeking for 2 people to join our team from June/July to the end of December however the start and end dates are flexible. Both functions could also be permanent positions for the right candidates. This opportunity would be perfect for a couple or friends as accommodation is a fully furinshed 2 bedroom house with power and internet supplied. We peak milk 1050 cows through a fully automated 60 bail rotary shed. The farm is 315 ha with a shed that is equipped with automatic cup removers, pro track, heat detection camera, and in-shed feeding. Located in Mayfield, the farm is fully irrigated with centre pivots, solid set in corners, and has a small section of k-line. The prosperous applicant will have; - Good attitude and communication expertise - Willing to lgain new expertise and expertise - Works well in a team *practice is a bonus but not a requirement, as we enjoy developing people and are willing to put the time into training.* We can offer; - A positive team environment and encouragement of on and off farm training and development - Warm and fully furnished accommodation - 8/2 8/3 roster - an employer that strives for best practice - Minimum of 70 hours a fortnight will be guaranteed however this will our busy time so hours might be 80-90 hours a fortnight.
