I am exclusively recruiting for a Manager of Financial Operations, to backfill a secondment, with a well-established public sector client. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance Operations team. This team is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of accounts, invoicing, bank reconciliations and receipting of revenue.
Other tasks Include:
   » Support and guidance to direct and indirect reports, building and enhancing the overall capcapability of the team to ensure quality and consistency of work
   » Develop and maintain relationships with Budget Managers to ensure financial transactions are captured correctly and according to policies/procedures
   » Processing AP, AR and receips while ensuring integrity and accuracy of data, according to strict deadlines
   » Ensure processing internal controls are maintained at all times, as well as continually reviewed for improvements
   » Lead innovation and automation of financial controls and processes
Required practice:
   » Significant practice leading large teams, with strong people management expertise
   » Strong practice across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations, with practice across compliance processes and systems
   » practice utilising large FMIS systems, internal controls and processes
