Hon Aupito William Sio, Minister for Pacific Peoples, Minister for Courts, Associate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Associate Minister of Education (Pacific Peoples), Associate Minister of Health (Pacific Peoples) and Associate Minister of Justice is seeking an administrative extraordinaire with a difference to join his team. You will be a dedicated and committed team player, exceptionally well organised who can multitask and get things done. There will be opportunities to utilise your communications and research expertise.
Providing a range of tasks that contribute to a well-run ministerial office, your day will include being the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries to the office, which makes practice in a customer facing function highly desirable. You will be responsible for assisting with diary management, making travel arrangements, and processing invitation and meeting requests so a strong eye for detail is a necessity. An knowledge of Pacific communities, their languages and cultures would be highly advantageous. to execute well in the function, you must have exceptional organisational expertise, attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication expertise. You will beproficient in Microsoft suite and managing databases. Dealing with members of the public and confidential information will mean you display sound judgement and act with integrity at all times.

You will be working at the heart of Government where policy decisions affecting all New Zealanders are made. this function can lead to future professional development opportunities on the precinct.
