The focus of the PSA is to advance the rights and conditions of members through building collectively in the workplace. The PSA takes a strategic approach to building unionism. The PSA has a vacancy for a Communications Advisor to join our communications team. This is a full-time, fixed term position till mid-December 2022 preferably located in our Wellington office. We are wanting the prosperous applicant to start as soon as possible. The communications team is responsible for the production of printed and online resources including newsletters and our quarterly journal te mahinga ora, developing and maintaining the PSA website, social media, media liaison, and providing advice and communications support for campaigns. this function would suit a Communications generalist who can assist with any of these functions. Familiarity and skill with design and social media will be a significant advantage. We are seeking for a fixed-term appointee because we are undertaking a strategic communications review to determine the future shape of our team. The PSA Te P?kenga Here Tikanga Mahi is committed to honouring Te Tiriti O Waitangi across our organisation and the work we do. We are pursuing to strengthen M?ori capcapability within our policy function. expertise of te reo and tikanga M?ori will therefore be an advantage and recognised through income. The income range for this position is$67,036 to $97,118. New employees enter the range on a starting rate located upon previous significant practice and commensurate with internal relativities. Progression to the top of the scale is by regular and automatic service steps. The PSA is also an EEO employer. You are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to work at the PSA.
