Rate is for $1100-$1200 per week, depending on practice.
Part-time (0.5) from start of position until 17 Dec 2022.
Full-time (FT) from 16 Januntil 17 Feb 2023.
Overtime (1.2) from 20-26 Feb 2023.
Part-time (0.5) from 27 Feb until 3 March 2023.
function will be supported by Site Manager, Technical Manager, Event Technician, Construction Manager, as well other departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Providing services as Production Manager for The Performance Arcade 2022.
Reporting to the Artistic Director &Producer on all tasks.
Working on pre-production for The Project by booking contractors, completing event paperwork, and liaising with other site users.
Planning the event with staff, and ssisting in other areas of the project where able.
Project management and co-ordination of the event and event staff, including: production schedules, problem solving, human resources, site use, contractors, logistics, consents, health and safety.
Managing the pack-in/set-up process, and pack out.
Supervising and helping to appoint staff responsible for site management, technical management, and health and safety.
Helping to maintain accounts and manage production expenses in the budget, in consultaton with Artistic Director &Producer.
Attending and assisting in the running of production meetings and artist workshops.
Liaising with artists and contributors involved in the programmeover the lead up to their presentation in The Performance Arcade 2023.
Working as a key part of the leadership abilities team to develop and realisethe programme, vision, and event design for the project.
Working on site with artists, crew, and contractors to prepare the site, event design, and individual works in the event for public presentation.
Visiting the event each day to meet with team, review site and event management, and tune technical elements.
Managing the pack up of the event - returning the site to previous condition, returning all rented/borrowed equipment, and putting all assets back in storage.
Attending regular production meetings, reporting on tasks, and participating in team decision making towards the presentation of The Performance Arcade 2023.
Respond to correspondence, emails, phone calls or requests in person; liaising with clients, performers, suppliers, tradespeople, and other parties as required.
Maintain company records, file keeping and other reports when required.
General cleaning tasks of the workplace and project space(s).
Miscellaneous errands and general administrative tasks as required from time to time.
Any other tasks that the business or the people that you report to may require from time to time.
