About the function: In this function you will be reporting to the finance manager and larger accounts teams in a range of activities, including working on exciting projects and superviseing and providing support to the accounts payable team. There is a lot of variation to this function, and you will be very central to the business, where you will have your voice heard. You will be part of providing advice and working closely alongside many departments and individuals within the business. You will have excellent practice as an account adjunct to be able to come in and hit the ground running. everyday you can expect to: • supervise and support the Accounts Payable team • supervise and administer bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations • Filing GST and PAYE forms • Create financial reports • Support planning and budgeting for the business • Provide support and back up to the finance team About you: As this is such a key function within the business where you will be working closely with different areas of the business, the capability to build strong relationships and a strong value on teamwork is essential. To be prosperous in this function you will: » Hold a degree in Business or Accounting » Strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures » Minimum 5 years significant practice » Knowledge of accounting software » Intermediate to expert level in Microsoft Excel » Able to communicate well and provide clear, constructive feedback.
