Our client, a leading industry supplier, is seeking a Process Operator to join their team in the vibrant city of Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry and operating computers, as well as brewing yeast and maintaining cleanliness standards. You will need to reliable and physically fit to handle manual labor including heavy lifting up to 25kg. Hours of Work: Rotating shift. Week 1, 8 hour shift (Sun - Thurs) (10.00pm - 6.00am), Week 2, 8 hour shift (Mon - Fri) (6.00am - 2.00pm) & Week 3, 10 hour shift (Mon - Thurs) (12.00pm - 10.00pm, Friday Rostered Day Off) Responsibilities : » Produce quality yeast and yeast products under supervision » Perform plant cleaning to company standards » Learn associated terminology used in yeast production » Participate in and adhere to all HSE policies Qualifications: » Full Class 1 NZ License » Fork-hoist license - preferred. » Basic first aid certification - preferred. » At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment » Excellent verbal and written communication skills » Computer literate using Microsoft Word and Excel basics Personal Attributes: » Proactive and willing to learn » A proven team player » Practical thinker with good reasoning ability » Ability to show/use initiative » Excellent problem-solving skills To be considered for this position, please apply online and attach a current CV and any relevant employment-related certificates.
