At Adecco we are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity as a Community Engagement Specialist within the esteemed Client. Our client has been dedicated to providing a wide range of services that empower individuals with disabilities, offering them the best possible life.
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our Outreach and Pathways teams. The Outreach team provides invaluable support to our clients based in hospitals, while the Pathways team evaluates eligibility for new clients entering our services. Through collaboration with stakeholders both within and outside the organization, you will champion service delivery improvements and ensure exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example, taking ownership of a caseload and effectively allocating work
Ensure the team's processes are agile, compliant, and purpose-driven
Collaborate with other teams and process owners to optimize systems and enhance information accessibility
Serve as a reliable resource for support on investigations, complaint resolution, service delivery challenges, and training gaps within the team
Support the Manager and act as a representative for the team during interactions with funders, providers, clients, and across the organization
About You:
Possess a profound passion for your work and a strong commitment to our clients values
Exhibit exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals
Demonstrate leadership and mentoring experience, coupled with a deep understanding of different learning styles and coaching techniques
Showcase a proven track record in coordinating support and services for individuals with diverse physical, intellectual, or sensory needs
Possess a solid working knowledge of the health and disability, mental health, or education sectors
