About the function
The Front of House Manager's function is to manage and supervise the front of house and customer-facing needs of CMNZ Series concerts and events in Wellington, including:
   » Managing on-going relationships with concert-goers
   » Contributing to and implementing audience development plans
   » Ensuring the smooth running of all Front of House tasks on the day of the concert
   » Assisting with concert-related and pre and post-concert functions
The Front of House Manager is the person on the ground in each centre where CMNZ Series concerts are presented. Information technology is a vital function in which local expertise and a network of local contacts can assist CMNZ with sales, audience development and sponsor servicing. The Front of House Manager works closely with the Concert Operations Manager and venue front of house staff to ensure the safe and efficient running of concerts.

You will have outstanding customer service expertise and relationship Manager who is welcoming to a wide variety of audiences and possesses a sense of pride in delivering an excellent practice to all. We are pursuing Somebody with warmth, kindness and empathy who will represent CMNZ's values. You will also have:
   » Good planning, event and project management expertise, including managing risks
   » Well-developed analytical expertise with the capability to identify and address key issues

About Us
Chamber Music New Zealand (founded 1950) is a national agency that tours New Zealand and international musicians, presenting 120 concerts in over 30 towns and cities all over the country each year. The concert programme incorporates a range of musical styles including classical, jazz, folk and contemporary genres.
Our dynamic and responsive community engagement programme sees musicians and artists working alongside a diverse range of groups and communities including people with lived practice of discapability, at risk youth as well as those in geographically isolated regions.
