The New Zealand Library Partnership Programme (NZLPP) is working to strengthen the vital function of New Zealand Libraries as community hubs that support life-long learning, reading, digital literacy and easy access to information and expertise.
We're in need of a Senior Advisor to work closely with library sector organisations to further the goals of the programme and ensure funded initiatives are connected and aligned to broader NZLPP-led library sector initiatives.
   » Establish, facilitate and grow strong working relationships with and among funded organisations, the NZLPP programme team and the National Library
   » Maintain an overview of funded initiatives including progress, risks and opportunities
   » Make connections and provide a range of high quality advice to the participating library sector organisations and NZLPP to support the success of their initiatives.

The National Library sits within the Information and expertise Services branch, the Department's epicentre of information management, culture and heritage. Our branch is all about collecting, storing and preserving important things that are precious to New Zealand. The Senior Advisor, Strategic Partnership Grants will call upon their broad relationship management expertise to develop, maintain and broker highly effectiveworking relationships with funded organisations and foster engagement with the broader NZLPP programme objectives.
They will maintain an overview of funded initiatives including progress towards milestones, risks and opportunities and provide high-quality advice to funded organisations on the development of responses, strategies or mitigations to keep initiatives on track.
