We are pursuing a Marketing and Communications Manager to head a small, enthusiastic team. This is a full-time position located in Wellington, which reports to the Director of the School.Our ideal candidate is an energetic and creative self-starter who is able to lead the marketing, communications of the School, and co-ordinate fundraising with the Development agent. Ideally you would have a tertiary qualification, preferably in Marketing or Communications, or significant work practice. A keen interest in dance or the performing arts would help immensely. We expect that you will possess excellent oral and written communication expertise and have a great knowledge of commercial marketing activities to clearly articulate and represent the School's brand to stakeholders and the general public. A strong grasp of computer expertise, digital platforms and virtual communication tools will assist in managing the database, website and social media. This is a varied function but key responsibilities include: » Managing the Marketing department, database and budget » Producing brochures and marketing collateral, managing in-house events and managing the website and social media to raise the School's profile and promote student recruitment » Managing and leading the internal communication within the School » Marketing the School's productions and public events.
